Greenpeace is a globally recognized environmental organization known for its bold campaigns and unwavering commitment to protecting the planet. They wanted to send a powerful message to Minister Tanya Plibersek urging the protection of Scott Reef, a vital marine ecosystem threatened by potential oil exploration.
STRATEGY:
Scott Reef, one of Australia’s most biodiverse marine habitats, faces severe risk from proposed oil drilling, which could disrupt marine life and damage fragile coral systems. To amplify their message, Greenpeace chose a hand-painted mural, using the power of street art to capture public attention and emphasize the urgency of the situation.
EXECUTION:
Working with a talented artist, we created a striking mural that used bold contrasts of bright colors and muted greys to depict two possible futures for Scott Reef. This impactful piece captured the stark choice facing policymakers, sparking conversation and raising awareness in a visually compelling way.
