Hachette, the world-famous book publisher, wanted to do something special for the passionate fans of the hugely popular Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros. They aimed to create a deeper, more personal connection with their community and celebrate the artistry behind the series.
STRATEGY:
After exploring several ideas, we suggested hand-painted murals. Just like the books, murals are crafted by skilled artists, making each piece unique and emotionally resonant. These murals would become physical touchpoints where fans could gather, interact, and celebrate the series, building a lasting connection.
EXECUTION:
Hachette provided the stunning cover artwork, and we brought it to life on busy walls in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. These murals became vibrant, real-world landmarks, drawing fans to connect, share, and engage. The campaign generated significant buzz, with hundreds of fans interacting both online and offline, creating unforgettable moments for the Empyrean community.
