THE OBJECTIVE

We have been working with Bank Australia for several years now, all the way back to when they were trading as Bank MECU on a campaign which was tailored to meet their brand DNA, which is a Customer owned bank (yes rare these days) they used to be a building society and upgraded to a bank so they could provide their customers with additional services but maintained their loyalty to customers. The main objective was to create a “Green / Environmental” mural to help launch the new Bank MECU service center in Melbourne. We flew UK reverse graffiti artist Moose over  to create the artworks on the streets of Melbourne while you were sleeping.

THE HOW

Over the weekend of the 10th and 11th March, Moose took to the streets of Melbourne armed with stencils, brushes, cloths and a high pressure water cannon leaving behind a series of artworks in three locations.

THE RESULTS

This campaign received massive PR and interest in the murals which assisted greatly with marketing and branding tying in with Bank Mecu’s unique customer owned banking in a new way
“It is fairly rare for a billboard to cause a stir but we can do an advertisement out of mud anywhere in Australia, and I guarantee that 25 out of 30 people will stop and take a photo of it with their mobile phone, and at least half of those people will upload it to their social media network”
